1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of vehicles from McZee Car Rental by the Renter. By renting a vehicle from Mczee Car Rental, the Renter agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Rental Agreement
The Renter will be required to sign a rental agreement before taking possession of the vehicle. The rental agreement will contain specific terms and conditions applicable to the rental, including but not limited to the rental period, rental charges, insurance coverage, and vehicle condition.
3. Rental Charges
Rental charges will be calculated based on the rental period, the type of vehicle rented, and any additional services or equipment requested by the Renter.
4. Insurance
The Rental Company will provides liability insurance coverage for the vehicle. However, the Renter may be required to purchase additional insurance coverage, such as collision damage waiver (CDW) or theft protection in long term rentals.
5. Vehicle Condition
The Renter is responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition it was received, except for normal wear and tear. Any damage to the vehicle during the rental period will be the Renter’s responsibility.
6. Fuel
The Renter is responsible for refueling the vehicle before returning it to the Rental Company. Mczee Car Rental may charge a refueling fee if the vehicle is returned with a low fuel level.
7. Driving Restrictions
The Renter may not drive the vehicle outside of the country or in areas where the vehicle is not permitted by law. The Renter must also comply with all local traffic laws and regulations.
8. Early Termination
The Renter may terminate the rental agreement early, subject to applicable fees and penalties.
9. Late Return
The Renter will be charged a late return fee if the vehicle is not returned to the Rental Company by the agreed-upon time.
10. Disputes
Any disputes arising from the rental agreement shall be resolved through negotiation or mediation. If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation or mediation, the parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe.
12. Amendments
The Rental Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any amendments will be effective upon posting on the Rental Company’s website.
By renting a vehicle from McZee Car Rental, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Condition.
